During the trip you will get acquainted with the history of the resort town, admire the variety of Jurmala wooden architecture, stroll along the main street of the city – Jomas Str., see the famous "Dzintari" concert hall, where various festivals and concerts are held daily during the summer season, and, of course, walk along the wide Jurmala beach.

Jurmala is one of the oldest resorts in Europe, which is famous for its wide sandy beach, mineral and mud springs and unique wooden resort architecture. Jurmala is also a venue for various concerts and festivals.

We will begin our acquaintance with the city with a visit to the Jurmala Open-air Museum, which exposition tells about the ancient occupations of the inhabitants of Jurmala. A fishing farmstead has been recreated here with characteristic buildings such as the dwelling house, the barn, the shed for nets, the smokehouse.

Next, we will visit the historical places of the resort city of Jurmala – Bulduri, Dzintari, Dubulti and Majori, where you can admire the carved wooden architecture of Jurmala mansions, see where Russian and Latvian celebrities like to stay and live.

Then we will go to the historical center of the city, where we will trace the history of the development of the city as a resort in the Jurmala City Museum. Already at the end of the 18th century, the first bathing places appeared here, and vacationers began to come here.

After visiting the Jurmala City Museum, we will make a stroll along the main street of Jurmala – Jomas Str., admire the resort architecture of Juras Str.
